Kindred Spirits Horse Rescue Welcomes Sweetie.
15 yr. old Quarter Horse Mare was donated by her owner .
On August 18th,2009 we had digital xrays taken on Sweeties front feet. She has some Navicular changes and will need special trimming/shoeing to keep her comfortable. We will start with a trim , shortening the toes and possibly booting her with pads to see if she can move more comfortably.
Sweetie is a joy to be around. She loves attention and will stand still all day if you are grooming her. She especially loves children and always comes to the fence to greet anyone who comes to see her.
